Wooden Wicks

Its getting pretty popular. I have seen it in more & more stores. I'm talking about wooden wicks! Have you seen them yet? Have you tried them yet? This will change the candle burning experience as you know it.
Wooden wick candles are basically a candle with a wick made out of wood. It is a treated piece of cedar, & NO its not a Popsicle stick! It is reminiscent of a camp fire. It even crackles as it burns! Also give off a slight woody scent. I prefer my wooden wicks with spicy herbal scents to compliment the woody scent.
There are some downfalls to the wooden wick. It is sooty. I recommend using it in the fireplace or outside on your porch or patio. But if you don't mind the soot it is a wonderful candle. Its very long lasting and gives you an even burn (wax burns evenly down the glass jar).
